PoWogaz JSC Cold Water Meter

The JSC range is an update to the popular JS range of Water Meters. By calibrating all of the models to comply with MID Class C (R160), the meters can now measure to wider flow ranges. This range also extends the available sizes of meter right up to 40mm to cover further requirements and larger installations. Using a Single Jet measuring style means that these meters are suitable when installing in either horizontal or vertical runs of pipework. All meters are supplied with the relevant unions connections to give a BSP Male thread connection.

All of the JSC Meters are WRAS approved so they comply with requirements for use in Potable Drinking Water applications in the UK. As mentioned earlier they are also calibated to meet MID standards allowing them for use in Billing scenarios. The cold versions of these meters are rated for water temperatures up to 50°C as a maximum.

An NK version of each size from 15-40mm is available which gives each Meter a Pulsed Output. For the smaller 15 and 20mm sized models this is a 1 litre per pulse ratio and then for the larger 25-40mm Meters the Output Ratio is 10 litres per pulse. M-Bus Modules can also be fitted to these meters allowin them to be connected as part of a wired or wiresless M-Bus network.

By sticking with the design of a Dry Dial, the Meter index is not affected by condensation or water contact. The water is all measured through the turbine impeller inside the meter body. All of the dials can be rotated to allow for an easier visual read of the meters when installing in different directions.
