Great for ground cover and rockeries. Has a few plum and green pieces in for a natural open textured finish. Blue is the flatest slate we have and 40mm can settle down very well on drives or paths with a good coarse texture whilst packed down firmly. Crushed from waste slate stockpiles in Wales. Also known as Welsh Blue or Heather Slate. Best layed 5-6cm deep or slightly deeper on drives. The actual size ranges from 15-50mm. 20kg Poly Bags, Bulk Bags and Bulk 20mm Blue Slate is available if you want a finer smoother finish. If you require even larger 50-100mm pieces try our Slate Paddlestones.
