Our Black Tumbled Sandstone flagstones are put through a tumbling process to create an antique, reclaimed appearance perfect for barn conversions, restorations and cottages. Our black sandstone paving contains subtle colour variations ranging from charcoal to light grey, with occasional warmer pink tones.
The Black Tumbled flagstones are durable and hard wearing, the colour mellowing with age. All the flagstones are calibrated to 22mm thick +/- 1mm, ensuring a quicker and simpler laying time than flagstones with variable thicknesses. They are ideal for use indoors and with underfloor heating, they can also be laid outside for patios and seating areas. These ethically sourced Indian flagstones are naturally riven on the surface and have hand dressed edges, giving a softer, more natural finish.
