TF Bac is a non imperious backing for applications requiring a traditional installation using gripper and underlay. TF Bac can be installed on all types of subfloor including stairways.

If installing on stairways it may be necessary to use stair nosing s to reduce wear edges on what can be a high footfall area. If this is necessary, and it's within a commercial installations, to confirm to DDA regulations consideration must be given to the Light Reflectance Value of the stair edge and you chosen carpet colour to ensure that there is a difference of more than 30 points. Stair nosing's will also aid with slip resistance, another important consideration for the use of carpet within stairways.

Tones TF Bac contains Bi-Ome , our innovative anti-microbial yarn coating and is manufactured using the Prism fibre, which ensures it meets your needs when it comes to cleaning, maintenance and infection control.
