Securistyle Defender Egress

The Defender Egress allows Casement Windows to comply with Building Regulations Approved Document B for fire escape windows.

The 16' hinge opens to a full 90 for emergency exit to comply with BS5588-1.

A composite slider with a Stainless Steel release lever mechanism allows cleaning access from the inside of the building to comply with BS 8213-1. This feature automatically resets to fire escape mode when the window is closed.

A self lubricating PTFE based coating on the end cap provides Smooth operation, whilst a die cast support place in the bottom slider ensures consistent performance.

Standard ferretic steel to BS EN 10088-2 Grade 1, 4016 offers a 10 year guarantee

Austenitic stainless steel to BS EN 10088-2 Grade 1, 4301 for enhanced corrosion resistance offers a 12 year guarantee (available to order only)
