Canal Architectural manufacture, fabricate and install straight, helical, spiral and curved glass staircases that are custom made to meet your design requirements, budget and building regulations.

Full production drawings are created for all staircases prior to manufacture to ensure the best results, based on the environment and expected volume of foot traffic.

Depending on requirements, stair balustrade can be manufactured from clear Toughened Glass (10mm – 19mm), low iron toughened (10mm – 19mm) and toughened laminates (13.5mm – 48mm).

In addition, Stair Treads can be manufactured from low iron toughened glass or standard float glass (39mm +).

All staircases are designed to comply with BS5395: Part 2, 1984 (spiral and helical staircases) and Building Regulations: Approved Document K (straight flight stairs).
