Riven Oak Laths

Riven or split oak laths are stronger than sawn or softwood but all provide the ideal background for Lime plasters as they can be well wetted which assists the slow drying of the Plaster giving a stronger key.

Riven oak laths are split down the grain and are therefore stronger than sawn laths.
