Wedmore Extending Table

The Wedmore Table is distinctive in that it extends from 2.2m, seating 8, right up to 3.55m, seating 14. It is also remarkable in that, unlike most other extending Tables, it is made from solid Timber with an oak top and walnut underframe. As it extends, the tapered shape enables diners to stay in visual contact with each other for greater conviviality and sociability.

The table can be extended in increments of 2 to seat 8, 10, 12 or 14 using seperate solid timber leaves. Two leaves are supplied and stored within the table. For the occasional times when you need to seat 14, a third leaf is available to purchase. This will need to be stored seperately.

We are offering the Wedmore in three options: oak top with oak frame & legs; oak top with walnut frame & legs (as shown); and walnut top with walnut frame & legs.To protect from spills and stains whilst keeping the timber looking as natural as possible, we finish the walnut with clear hard wax oil and the oak a whitened hard wax oil.
