Reinforced Plastic (GRP): Fibreglass by trade name, is an incredibly versatile product and can be moulded into shape, allowing for bespoke products to be created.
GRP is used in many applications where conventional materials cannot meet required specifications and standards such as fire ratings, impact resistance and weight considerations - such as weight loading ladders.
GRP is manufactured by combining hundreds of glass strands together using a pigmented thermosetting UV resin.
This combination produces an incredibly strong and durable panel, with a pleasurable appearance to the eye.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Bay Plastics is consulted before specifying.
