We recommend to reinforce the render at overlapping mixed masonry types or at the joint of masonry-lintel, masonry-crown, etc. Contact points of the structural system and fill-in masonry (for example a steel reinforced concrete - fill-in brick wall), contact points of ceiling construction and non-structural wall are recommended to be suitably dilated in render.
