Part of our Romano Vein-cut Travertine Collection. Travertine has been quarried in Italy for thousands of years and features in much of the countryÕs iconic architecture. In recent years, lower-quality stones from countries other than Italy have taken a share of the market. At Artisans weÕre going back to the source. Each of the five stones in our Romano Collection is cut with the veins, which guarantees lovely sedimentary patterns Ð the true mark of the genuine and best travertine. Like Italian fashion, travertine is often copied but never matched.
