Armashield's range of Thermashield HS Roll high-speed doors offer a solution for almost every application. Fast action rolling doors are a great way to help minimise energy loss through openings which are used frequently, helping to cut down costs associated with energy wastage and also helping to lessen the environmental impact. The high-speed of these doors also helps to greatly improve workplace productivity.



Thermashield HS speed doors can roll to the head or foot of the opening or at either side to meet in the centre. The Door Frames are available free-standing and self-supporting and the head box and side guides can be constructed from galvanized steel or Aluminium in self-finish or powder coated or can be constructed from Stainless Steel. High speed doors are constructed from tough PVC-coated fabric in a range of colours and with the option of transparent Vision Panels to a variety of sizes. Special curtain and door constructions can also be supplied to suit specialist areas such as freezer rooms, ATEX rated explosion-proof areas or air-tight Clean Rooms. Rapid-roll doors can be manufactured to very large sizes and are available with wind bars for external applications.



Thermashield HS speed doors also come with a wide variety of safety features such as photo beams and safety edges, as well as soft edges, self-repairing and anti-crash systems and comply with European standards and regulations. The doors can be operated by a variety of methods including: radar sensor, induction loop, remote control or push button and they can be interlocked to suit specific requirements. Rapid roll doors offer quiet and reliable operation and are available with opening speeds of up to 2.5 metres/second.  The doors are available to suit openings up to 8000mm x 8000mm.

One of the most popular Thermashield HS door models is the self-repairing, soft-edge model.  This door greatly reduces ongoing maintenance costs as it resets itself immediately following an impact.  The soft bottom edge gives complete peace of mind as it will not harm people or machines when hit.
