The Alpro DB38 electric deadlocking bolt is a dual action, electronic deadbolt, high security door lock. Primarily designed for securing commercial doors, the DB38 deadlocking bolt is the widest solution in the door lock range making it well suited to larger doors and frames. Given its size the DB38 deadlocking bolt also has the highest holding force of any of the Door Locks and for over 25 years it has been used with confidence in buildings globally. Hidden in Door Frames or surface mounted to Glass doors with the aid of accessories, the DB38 deadlocking bolt is made to the highest specifications.
The DB38 can be connected to advanced access control systems where logging and traffic reports are important which makes it the ideal solution for centrally controlled buildings. It provides feedback of both door and bolt positions which can be used in conjunction with a the security and access systems to fully monitor and control movement.
Surface mounting a lock and/or strike with the aid of a DB38 housing offers more flexibility in installation and makes securing glass doors possible. Dress plates are offered to give a ‘clean’ finish when a housing has been installed onto glass. Both the housing and dress plate are supplied with self-adhesive tape for instant application to glass doors and frames.
