EL1A - Cloakroom & Changing-Room Fittings

The EL1A Single-width island bench with coat pegs is a freestanding bench that is often used around the perimeter of a changing room combined with our double-width island bench. This high-spec bench comes with our safety hook option as standard – here the coat pegs sit behind a protective shield, rather than projecting dangerously. This type of coat hook is fully compliant with the German standard DIN7917 for Hooks on changing room benches.

The supports come with the option of being made in Stainless Steel grade 316, which is resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion. This is also known as marine-grade steel, due to its popularity in the maritime environment. This is the option of choice for swimming pool benches, as the chlorine used to kill germs in the water is also highly corrosive to steel. Our seating is guaranteed for five years, even in this environment, which is difficult for changing room furniture.

The image above shows our swimming pool benches with the Aluminium slat option. Here, the slats have been powder coated in blue to match the tiling on the Walls. The option of adding colour means that the architect can design the bench to match corporate colours or any other bespoke option.
