This is due to its double mass loaded vinyls and the use of the cross linked foam impact layer, granting the product longevity, lasting years of 'bounce back' properties, when comparing to lower grade foams. As traditional non cross linked foams which you can expect only 1-3 years service, and if there is a continuous point-load on the lesser grade foam then it will lose its shape reducing acoustic performance.

PhonoMat 15 Pro consists of two layers of 5kg barrier mat for Low- Medium noise. If you need Medium-High, look at the PhonoMat 22 Pro Max.

It is designed to be installed simply and quickly as any conventional carpet underlay or pre plasterboard layer but with the added function of being acoustic. PhonoMat-15 Pro is ideal for use in domestic applications where privacy and comfort is required.
