Wall in one

Wall In One is a wall-hung workstation designed to make life easier, particularly at workplaces with a high degree of mobility. This could include workstations for sales personnel, in hotel lobbies, at hospitals or as booking stations at conference and business centers. Wall In One may, however, also be used in schools and universities and would not be out of place in the home office.

Wall in One is practical furniture that creates a private sphere in an open room using very little space. It can be adapted for a standing or seated position depending on how high it is hung, while all the cables can be concealed in the construction. Cleaning is also easier as it is wall hung, says Christian N rgaard, one half of the design duo.

Wall In One, which was discovered by Abstracta at the furniture fair in Milan in 2010, is made from molded wood veneer or white compact laminate. The back plate is made of recyclable wood fiber. To achieve a sound-absorbing effect, it has been covered with fabric Europost in 9 colours as standard. Beneath the fabric is a thin sheet of metal, which means the entire back section can be used as a notice board.
