The parties involved in the project:

This case study was set in Crail, Kirkcaldy, Scotland, in 2019.

Our client, Carriden Homes, required a new sewage treatment solution for their site with Bungalows. 

The challenges:

The site was located a few miles away from the centre of Crail. It included five contemporary bungalows with four bedrooms and three bathrooms, plus an open-plan kitchen/dining room and lounge.

Our customer, upon consulting SEPA, decided to use a secondary sewage treatment system to ensure high effluents and water quality once treated.

A few challenges came to us during the project:

• Keeping the system nice and tidy.
• Finishing the job before the winter break.
• Respecting all the deadlines.

We were contacted by the architect due to our excellent cleaning quality products and our reputation in the industry.

How did Tricel help?​

We supplied the Novo UK30G sewage treatment plant on-site within five working days. Once installed on the ground, we had the Puraflo modules shipped. The engineer coordinated the installation of the modules and pump chamber at the site and decided on the most suitable time.
