Due to the clever compact design and construction, the footprint of this lift is very small, and the low wide lifting deck provides easy access from almost any angel of approach.
As there are no posts that block the sight lines the overall impression is of a spacious and beautiful car storage solution, giving allowing the cars themselves to be displayed to their very best. An elegant and fabulously simple lift design.
The design not only achieves great beauty but is also functionally is also at the very top end, providing ample space both on the floor as well as on the lifting platform for the widest range of cars. The width of the Alford is just 2.5m remarkably narrow which permits installation in almost any ordinary garage. Multiple installations are also a popular and useful option for lager buildings where space is at a premium and visual impressions are important.
Whilst installing the lifts side by side can also be useful where floor space is at a premium, with the car raised out of the way the floor is left almost unobstructed, whilst still have simple access to anyone single vehicle.
The high lifting height of the lift is 2.20m (top of platform) and 2.0m free height under the platform, can be used for drive trough as well as for parking, the high clearance providing clearance for many outsized tall vehicles.
The low angle approach ramp is perfect for low-profile vehicles, such as exotics and sports cars as well as race cars with dropped suspensions, most parking lift platforms are only able to achieve this with extra-long approach ramps, which of course take up precious extra space, whilst the Alford design has the built in. The platform itself help accommodate these low clearance cars with an integrated incline.
The design itself requires no lifting cables or chains are used in our lift further enhancing the clean and sleek appearance of the unit. The Alford lifting power comes from two hydraulic rams, and it's clutter free rugged design is almost maintenance free and is built to provide many years of excellent service.
