6 Lobe TX Pan Machine Screws are similar to DIN 7985 and host a 6-lobular recess.
They are driven using a mating wrench or an insert bit sizes from TX4 to TX40. These screws are much more efficient than the slotted screw products and hex socket drive screws due to a higher resistance to cam out, as well as the ability to be used with power drivers which enables faster installation and higher torque to be achieved.
With previous use in the automotive industry, these machine screws can be found across a range of applications.
Available from Fastenright in sizes from M1.6 to M8, with other diameters and lengths available upon request.
6 Lobe TX Pan Machine Screws are also available in UNC, UNF, Self-Drilling, Thread Forming and Self-Tapping form.
Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Fastenright is consulted before specifying.
